We had an ultrasound yesterday, and the results were mixed.  While the baby's healthy and there's nothing medically wrong (that they can tell), he's in what they call a "footling posterior breech" position.  Basically it means he's the exact opposite of how he's supposed to be for delivery.  With only a week left until my due date, it's a bit ( Read more... )

Well, my grandfather's still in the hospital.  We're not sure if he's ever going to be able to go home.  He'll probably stay in the hospital or go into a nursing home, once they're sure of the extent of the damage the stroke did.  They're adjusting his medication and trying to find out just how bad it is.  If he can swallow, they'll start getting ( Read more... )

I think the title just about sums it up. I hate being responsible for bills, a job, money, and all things grown-up in general. I'm not saying there aren't good things about being grown up, for there most assuredly are, but there are a lot of sucky things here too. Well, I had another doctor's appointment yesterday (you have lots of those when you're pregnant) and we got to take a peek at the baby. Good news, the baby's healthy and developing well. More good news, we're having a boy. That's right, a bouncing baby boy. Yay! I'm so excited!
