Work has been incredibly stressful lately. Along with my workload increasing due to the departure of someone on our team (and the fact that we're not filling the position until AFTER a major event in October), there's been a lot of politics bullshit that I'm not enjoying. Fall is in full swing! Need to bake some pies and such. I made a loaf of bread yesterday that rose & ended up MUCH better than the loaf last week. However, it was a bit spongy rather than being soft. I woke up this morning facing the harrowing realization that SUMMER IS OVER WITH. Which, for people in my area, means that we are at the threshold of winter.
