Another car gone...
Well, my second car has bit the dust and been hauled off to the salvage yard. At least I got a better deal on this car, since the engine still worked. So some random dudes came by today with a flatbed and paid me $600 for my 1999 Olds 88. It had ~183,000 miles on it, so I feel it lived a respectable life.

It's only been about 15 years...no biggie
I'm really not in the mood to depress myself by spending all my waking hours applying for jobs I'm not going to get. So I dug through my closet and pulled out my partially finished latch-hook rug! We had wild turkeys in our yard today. One of them even got really ambitious and flew up into the tree to eat from the suet cake. O_o

6 months backlog!
I finally had Rinkya ship my Yahoo!Japan purchases. Yeah...now I get the ultimate joy of scanning 6 months worth of purchases. I scanned 10 items tonight before I gave up and went to read fanfic instead. ;) I'll make a larger post once everything is scanned and up on my website. -
WTF LJ!
Is anyone else having problems with their userpics? No matter where/when I post, it will only use my default icon. Regardless of what icon I select, the default Oregon Trail icon is the only one which will appear. This has been going on for the past few days. Anyone else in the same boat, or is my computer possessed? -
