I have decided to go to LOTS (Lochac Officers Training Symposium) that is being held in Politarchopolis (Canberra) a day before 12th Night.

I think that it is a great opportunity to talk to people about how they do things, within their group, Barony.  So I am really looking forward to that.

 So this morning I got up and went to see the Red Panda's at Wellington Zoo.  ZOMG!!!!  They are soooo damn cute, and it was so much fun.  They crawled and walked all over my lap, thankfully they did not scent mark me.  Whew!  But I got to feed and pat them.  And got some good photos.  Even on my phone camera.  Plus I took a recording of them too ( Read more... )

I am taking a break from Inigo's jupon.  I have the mock-up all fitted and it's ready to be unpicked and the proper fabric to be used can be cut out.

However I do need to make some wooden stamps of Inigo's heraldry, Then I will use fabric paint and stamp the fabric with his heraldry as decoration on the jupon.  So I need to either borrow or buy a ( Read more... )

The following is my first draft of notes in reconstruction/translating Cesarina from Caroso's Il Ballarino (1581).  Most of what I have written will not make a lot of grammatical sense.  I have translated almost literally, so the language seems clunky.  I have also not bothered to translate the dance steps as they are known to myself.
