I am on the road to recovery.  Sort of.  Got an ultrasound on Monday and they saw that I have a small tear in my soleus calf muscle.  So it's stretching and strengthing exercises for my legs.  Plus massage from the physio ( Read more... )

So I went to the A&E last night after work.

I am now

• On crutches
• Have drugs
• Scheduled for an ultra-sound (only way to find out if I have torn part of my calf muscle)
• Possibly not dancing Chiara Stella at the Winter Warm-up
• Am pissy about hurting myself.

Dancing was last night.  We were going to be practicing Chiarastella and Pungento Dardo (sp) as we are performing this on the 14th of August.  Then on to some 15th Century dances.

I have my first fitting with Inigo tonight.  As we are doing a swap/trade.  I make a jupon for him, and I get armour.  So this is great.
