Lolol, my thoughts exactly. And he left out the part about how they dated for a while. So they're... exes who are best friends with great chemistry? I think I've seen that movie and Katharine Hepburn was really good in it.

It's hard not read into BJ's interview as well as BJ's character's storyline on the show tbh. Your post is like a public service for those who were oddly distracted by the real life inspiration for his arc on the show. ;)

For serious, there is no way I could watch that episode without spending the whole time thinking about the real life context, WHAT A WEIRD EPISODE TO WRITE IF YOU ARE JUST BEST FRIENDS AND NOT TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER. And then to tell the entire media that it is based on them being creepily close best friends and how it weirds out people they try to date!!
