Thanks! It kind of hurt to write this story at times. I felt really sorry for Snape but I still love to watch him suffer. Sad boys are pretty.

I've had zero time to read anything lately, but new fic from you goes straight to the top of the to-do list! I'm thrilled you're writing again!

Thanks! I'm glad to have more time to write lately. I have a lot of bunnies to deal with.

Oh god, I can't believe it took me until today to actually read this! It's exactly what I love so much about your style, and what I loved so much about Imperfect. Their dialogue is so compelling, and just the originality with which you paint all these scenes between them is so wonderful.

I do hope you keep writing this pairing. You are one of the very best at it. ♥

Thanks so much. I'm glad you like the dialog. I swear sometimes Snape and Lupin just start having a conversation in my head and I just take dictation. A lot of this fic and especially Incomplete just started out as dialog that I built a story around.

Don't worry, I've got one Snupin in beta and another one in it's first draft. So I have a glut of Snape/Lupin coming up. You'll get sick of my Snupin.

I am just left with this overwhelming sense of "Wow." Truly powerful writing here. I like a lot of the things you touched on in this, and the subtle yet powerful way they came through. Snape here fits perfectly with the way I see Snape, Angry, lonely and hateful, but very human. And Remus... I think I love you for the way you wrote Remus. So real in his actions and flaws.

And the ending. Remus thinking the memories unimportant... that ripped me apart. *Ouch* and that last painful sorry...

I can not express how much this story really hit me, just "wow." seriously. Just incredible, incredible job. Thanks so much for sharing it.

Thanks so much. I'm glad that Snape and Lupin come across as human, that's my main motivation for writing slash, to practice writing, especially writing characters as human and messed-up.

It's funny about the "unimportant memories" bit, I wrote that quickly, and totally meant to re-work it on a re-write and completely forgot. I thought maybe it was a bit clunky but everyone loves it. That just goes to show that you should let the readers decide sometimes. Or that you can never underestimate fandom's love for angst. It's good to know I'm not alone in my love for tear-out-my-heart fic.

Gracious, what a beautiful, powerful, terrible story. Poor, Poor Severus. He deserves better than that awful Remus Lupin! LOVED the imagery of hiding under the sheets. Excellent all 'round. Oh, and I don't comment in order to get a comment in return. I leave feedback because I like a story and don't need anything in return.

Thanks! Severus hiding under the sheets was one of the earliest ideas I had for this story. I'm glad you liked it. I'm often tempted to pull the covers over my head and stay like that forever.

I actually love to respond to comments. I'm usually pretty chatty. I got behind the last few months (year) 'cause my home computer broke. But now I have a shiny new computer that I'll be paying off for the next 15 years I love.

Lupin wanted to know about Voldemort, Dumbledore or Malfoy and all he got were these unimportant recollections.

Oh, that is the most painful bit of all...

Yes, you can definately still write.

Thank-you. I'm glad you liked it. It is pretty sad in the end. I've been obsessed with painful Snupin since the last book.
