Yes, you can still write. And kill me at the same time.

He thought of blood blossoming up from slashes in Black's skin. Slippery, red rivulets. The type a werewolf would leave. Torn to shreds. He jotted it down in the margins of his book during potions class, for enemies. - Incredibly insightful. I don't think anyone else has correlated the two before.

Thank you for writing and sharing! Missed you! <3

love, lore

Thanks! I'm pleased you liked the sectumsempra bit. I kept thinking I should expand it. It seemed to work as a short, dark denouement to the shack incident but I was afraid nobody would notice it. Ever since the last book, I've been obsessed with poor bullied Snape brooding and writing revenge spells.

This was the story you were asking for a beta for, the other day? I felt sorry that I was too overloaded to volunteer, since I know how well you write. But I now I wasn't needed.

And instead, I get to come to this fresh. This is powerful. Unusual. You do such a good, complete job of showing them both as merely human: undecided, prone to temptation, sometimes inconsistent, neither entirely good nor evil.

This is very fine. Thank you.

Thanks. You always leave such thoughtful comments. I'm glad the characters come across as human. I mostly write to explore human relationships in all their messed-up glory, and to write porn.

Ow, that hurts! Can one get any more angst in a story without killing either of the leads? So well written!

Thanks, sorry to pain you. I admit this is one of my angstiest stories. I actually felt sorry and embarrassed for Snape as I wrote it. Still, I showed him no mercy, poor man.

Oh good god. This is the fic I've always wanted to read, the one I want to write, the one I always hope other writers are writing. This is beautiful, I love your insight on little events, on sectumsempra, on the effects of legilimens when partnered with crucio... I love this, it broke my heart, made me sniffle, and gods this is really good. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks, you're too sweet. I'm glad you found it moving. I've been writing it since the last book came out, heck even a little before that. So it's good to know it was worth all that time.

Oh my goodness! So many heartwrenching moments, but the killer for me was this: "all he got were these unimportant recollections." Oh, my poor, poor Severus.

An amazing work.

Thanks so much. It's funny I was going to change that line about the unimportant recollections because I thought it was too mean, but it's proved so popular. I guess I should never underestimate the lust for angst.
