Never been diagnosed as anosmic by a doc-type-person, but I've been this way for as long as I can remember; to the point of thinking I'd eventually "learn" how to smell. I seem to have been born without a sense of smell. That is to say, I don't ever remember being able to smell anything. Not flowers, not food, not garbage, not skunks. Nothing. I have not only never met anybody with this condition, nobody I know has ever met anybody with it either. Nevertheless I'm not alone, as I discovered for the first time ( Read more... )
