Has anyone seen Mirrormask? I just got done watching it, and what a strange film! It's a little slow to start, but it's a visual feast! Written by Neil Gaiman of Sandman fame, and directed by Dave McKean, who did the cover art for Sandman and a ton of other Gaiman projects, the film shows the unique style of both of its creators. I'm feeling a little adrift. I don't have many friends, so this past week getting to help out some friends with a few things was a real joy, but those things ending for one reason and another was kind of a letdown, and made me realise how empty my life has become. Worse, I'm not sure what to fill it with. ( You've got the tone. The rest is back here. )

Nothing really to say. I'm having a decent Christmas. Some days since last time have been happier than others, but no bad ones. Yay, me. :) The down side is that it feels like I'm doing less than ever, and kinda have less of a life than ever. It seems nearly everything I had or did has faded into the ether.
