Given the fact that while we can't trace back to Merlin in the traditional European sense, we certainly have a mythical tradition of our own, some of the most profound recently would be like the Great Ghost Dance, and the like. Why are such mythical legacies in the America's being ignored? Why cant we take and set the approvals on a legacy by legacy basis?
First off, please understand I used England as an example in the published rule. I have no idea what the state of English mystic history is, and whether the ANST there considers her country well-developed in terms of Legacies or not. I have no power to declare anything that happens in England, so don't assume that because I said something that it must true. I could have put any country where I put the word "England" and it would have had the same effect

Ok Justin, I will accept (and to me, accept means believe) your reason stated for not allowing comments. Thusly, I will have to offer an apology for thinking the reasons were different than those

1. Sometimes we are forced to make unpopular choices, yes. However, we should only be forced to make those choices when the opposite would be obviously detrimental to the game. I dont see that in this case. The rest of the world is going by awy of Mid approval, I dont see why we have to be special

with the preponderance of available online games, and with being able to submit downtimes and such for xp... if you simply get your 3 xp a month for downtimes, you're looking at 36xp. add 8 more for your two in-person games per year, and you're at 44. Hit 2 online games in that same year.. you're looking at 52.
That cap was very carefully calculated to not discriminate against people in your exact situation. I was there when the topic was discussed at ICC. Yes, it means you have to be dilligent about turning in downtimes. but it can be done.

I would hate to think an ST would allow me to max my character's downtime exp every single month if I only play 2 actual in-person games in the year.
Besides, reading short things that I write is painful enough, why would you want me to tortue some poor soul by forcing them to read some long thing by me every single month? ;)

I'd fully expect your ST to give you the max allowable especially considering your situation (most domains I've heard of give full xp for a downtime regardless). As for how long it would be, you are still limited to Resolve actions a month. 5 bullet points can't be that bad.

Approvals should be made on a legacy by legacy basis instead of blanket level.
