#1 does not work so well for me. At your eye, as how you'd normally take a picture of something that's not yourself in a mirror?

Just hold the camera up and look through... the thingy that you look through as you're standing in front of the mirror, as how you'd normally take a picture of something that's not yourself. XD Then clickie.
