Valentine's malarky: sent a card to the fella's work-place, which was great because he was teased and harrangued by his more-than-macho pint'o'lager-type colleagues! Thursday night itself was a mess of japanese cuisine (because he is the bestest cook ever!), including

well, it was the 29th Feb on Friday... and the chance only comes once every 4 years, so what's a girl to do?? With no real sense of occasion apart from it just being The Right Darn Time, I proposed to Dr_Absinthe... and he was a little surprised, but although we've no plans (or rings) as yet, it's a definite yes. I still don't know who to, and who not to tell. Part of me wants to shout it from the rooftops, and that part of me is winning today.
