Loneliness
My Mamai passed away yesterday. She was 58. I refused to accept she wasnt my real mother (even to my mother) until I was 6. They buried here in the cemetery of the church where we would go to get hot cross buns when I was young. My oldest memories are of her. And sunflowers. Blind fish
The caves were interesting albeit smaller than I expected. 5 km long but you only really have access to about 1.5 kms. And there's really not much rope-type stuff you can do, especially with family. Summer
I have to learn to swim in the summer. It's embarrassing that I can't yet. There's only three things I can't do: swim, dance and drive (stick shift). If I learn fast enough over the summer, I'll go diving in July. The coast of Oman is the most beautiful place to dive.

Notes from beyond
I outdrank an open bar last night. I rock. Steve Galloway's book launch party was awesome. I now own Kevin Chong's soul and for the first time, Lauren did not call Steve a hack. We're an amazing couple. Seriously. I'll post a picture because I intend to remember this for the rest of my life.
