Just a little "update" from the "storm zone" ! We are doing ok. We still don't have our power back on,so we contiue to run off of our generator, sparingly. We are getting low on fuel for it, so we run it like 3 hrs on 2-3-hrs off. I just cranked it at 7 this a.m., and it had been off since about 9:30 last night. Well, me thinks this an opportune time for an update. Hurricane Rita hit 125 miles South of us about 3 a.m. this day. It moved North and came over us as a cat-2 about 10:00-11:00.It is a large storm,and at this time is still blowing tropical storms winds here,up to 75 mph. I think we have dodged a bullet. We're Back! Our comp. "crtashed" during the "wee" hours of the 17th. The moden went bad. My better half purchased a new one and installed it, so we're back on line. However, it wiped out a lot I had saved. Fortunately, I had duplcates of the pics.Any way, that's all that has happenned to us. See ya'll later, hear?
