Writer's Block: Smoked Out
Personally, I think it's BS that they have to be "ostrascised"!, as it were. I no longer smoke
but I don't expect everyone else to cater to me. I can choose to "not" be around it if I so
desire. So why "punish" those who like it? Political-correctness" is my # 1 pet peave ! mike -

Well, it's hard to believe it has been 13 months since my last entry. I couldn't access lj for most of that time. We finally left aol,(they actually admmitted it was mostly their fault)?, and went to Yahoo. I have "monitored" some of yall's entries and thoroughly enjoyed hearing what is happening in your lives. Hello! Hopefully this will find everyone having a great new year thus far ! We are fine here. The last report was regarding the little squirrels we reared. They are still around and "Faye" come up and eats on the patio regularly,but Ray keeps his distance. My better half got a guinea pig several months ago, and we're learning about it. It has been a while since I've updated,,so here goes. I do hope the new year is being kind to everyone thus far. We old folks are doing well. In Feb. we became guardians to 2 baby squirrels. They were approximately 3-weeks old,very little hair,eyes still closed-a boy and girl. We immediately named them Ray & Fay and started feeding them with an ( Read more... ) -

Well, we made it through the Christmas season "no worse for wear" ! Actually we don't 'do" Christmas in the traditional sense. Our son and his family came over for supper-good visit. For New Years, we were in bed before the year "changed". I suppose ( Read more... ) -

Hello! I hope everyone has been enjoying the Fall of the year. Finally we are getting some Fall weather here in Texas. I t was 80 yesterday, but things are looking up w/ a 36 predicted for tonight and 29 for Mon. night. Hopefully everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving, and is anticipating Christmas.
