A record-low turn-out, and electoral reform goes down to defeat. To be honest, I do want electoral reform, but I am not sure I wanted the system being proposed. Honestly, excluding that the provincial Liberals essentially ignored the City of Toronto, I have been generally satisfied with the last few years of government in Ontario ( Read more... )

Tonight marks the end of my 4 to midnight shift experiment. When I took the shift, I figured it would be worth the late nights to get the weekends off. Now that it is over, I am not so sure. It has been a pretty dull week thus far. Work hasn't made me want to hurl myself off a building, which is good. Jennifer is working hard at the end-of-school crunch and I am working for the weekend. Last night I came home to a super delicious pasta dish that was left for me. Yum!

Jennifer and I have been watching my Buffy DVDs on and off for the past few weeks. I really like watching Buffy again with someone who donesn't know the ins and outs of the story already. I forget how much fun all the little developments and reveals were the first time through ( Read more... )

My dad and step-mom have a shared e-mail account, I've noticed this is not uncommon with the older folks using e-mail outside of work. I can't even fathom a shared e-mail account. A shared e-mail account seems about as a practical as shared underwear to me ( Read more... )
