2009 started off slow for live music for me. Aside from Sundance, I've been to just one concert this year, and that was during Sundance from a Sundance artist. I hope that all of my friends who are going through their various struggles with the things that life is throwing at them like a Nolan Ryan fastball are doing well. There are always people to help you in case it's needed and people hoping for the best for you whether you ask us to or not.

I ended up taking the first steps toward ending a friendship (if you can call it that) with a person that I don't think appreciates me. I've tried to arrange hanging out with her more often and to have more conversations with her for a full year, but it simply isn't working.
