Fuck, you guys, my back is out, and I am so frustrated! Work has been a zoo, and I was supposed to work overtime this weekend, but it got canceled at the last minute, so I thought I'd at least be able to get a bunch of other shit done. I fully intend to post an actual Escapade con report at some point soon, but it appears that I have returned to the exact same level of omg-who-planned-this-let's-all-work-overtime job craziness, due to a project that I had hoped would be much closer to completion when I got back from vacation. Update on the breakfast casserole plus I kind of kept going
So, the breakfast casserole did turn out delicious! It is about the consistency/texture of bread pudding, or maybe the texture of a sweet cereal version of a wet savory dressing/stuffing. Anyway, good! Sweet, but not too sweet, which is good since I like a little sweet early in the morning but get grossed out by over-the-top sugary stuff ( Read more... ) -
Experiments in breakfast
I am a person who LOVES breakfast and breakfast foods, but I find eating breakfast on a full-time work schedule such a trial. It's so hard for me to eat at 5:30 or 6:00 in the morning, let alone actually cook something. So I usually stick to toast with peanut butter, cereal with rice milk, instant oatmeal and yogurt, etc.. Oh, Community is back! It's back, it's back!
