Usually Justin's the more culinarily inclined of the two of us. Sunday he cooked, and dinner was beans & weiners. Yesterday I cooked, a broccoli & shrimp fettuccini alfredo. Tonight he's cooking again. Hotdogs.

I learned today that one of the victims of the Virginia Tech shooting on Monday was the mother of one of my highschool classmates. I wasn't ever especially close to her, and I never knew her mother, but it feels strange to have a connection there ( Read more... )

I've been trying for a week to meet with my teacher to learn how to print digitally, and one thing after another keeps going wrong. I sliced my fingertip off this morning at work. Well, not really the whole fingertip. Just a 1-2mm thick bit from my tip to mid-nail. Kind of hurts like a bitch. I think it's time for another dose of tylenol soon. The doctor in Emerg said it should grow back normally, but obviously it'll take some time. Anyway I'm just fishing for sympathy.
