Well, I have decided to give him currants as treats now.. it's just easier... he seems to like them more than his real treats.. it's SOOOOOOOOOO bizarre..

Roomies' poodles like raw carrots for treats. Dogs... WTF?

Dogs don't actually have much in the way of taste buds like we do - they are about scent and texture. Carrots smell sweet, are crunchy, and are moist inside - perfect for a dog's sense of taste. :D

Oh yeah, I had a cat in GA who, when given a piece of meat sandwich, would eat the bread and leave the meat. :-)

My uncle's cat LOVED tortilla chips, preferably with salsa. Cats are weird.

Not uncommon. When we had a cat, we had to be very careful to avoid leaving loaves of bread out on the counter. Otherwise, when we next came downstairs, we'd find it on the floor with a number of punctures in the bag, one of them large enough for a few bites to have been taken out of the loaf.

Helios (the furry in the icon) has this LOVE of bread. Will viciously attack any bread like item he can get. Including polishing off 5 out of 6 FROZEN english muffins that we had taken out of the freezer 'cause they were freezer burnt.

Aside from dealing with bread and plastic wrap shrapnel everywhere, what comes out of the OTHER end is less than pleasant to deal with so I go through great pains to hide any bread substances. :P

Oh, and my dog eats apples. I hide those now too ...
