Wow - that was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Low-hanging clouds boiling over the balcony, the sky a mix of near black and sickly yellow. It's snowing. Only a little bit, but there are definitely snowflakes falling past my window.

We're in the US!!! My Green Card stamp was endorsed, the cats, the luggage and our good selves all arrived in one piece this morning in New York City, and right now we're in a hotel in Ohio, half way to Chicago.
