Wierd dreams lately. Started just before I went to GNW. Vivid, and I remember them pretty well after waking. I rarely remmeber my dreams, so not sure why.

Constructed Mk1 and mk2 quiver. Mk 1 is a bi tight for a dozen arrows, but fine for 1/2 dozen. Mk2 meets all of my functional requirements, if not the aesthetic ones, which probably means I'll be using it for the next 10 years. Should paint arms on it at some point, but I can tick another thing off my "do before CF next year" list.

I'll be having a new years bbq/drinkies from 4pm on New Years eve at my place.

Fighting weekend with Berengar and Gabs good. inexplicable left arm muscle pain meant cut a bit short, but lots of stuff to work on. Sometimes I despair, but mostly excited. Now tired.

Day of fun was. Got to fight, hunt, watch iron bloom and generally hang out with good people.

Tested new gambeson on Sunday.

Will need to modify my arm harness slightly, but it worked really well, and I didn't overheat with all the extra padding.

Back home, back at work. Had enormous fun, happy to be home.

We spent yesterday roaming Edinburgh - the castle, Holyrood House, The cathedral, national museum of Scotland.

Today was castles and dinner for Duncan's birthday.

I like Dirleton. I wants one.

Tomorrow we fly home. I'm sad this adventure is ending, but also looking forward to being in my own space and seeing my friends.

Stirling Castle was awesome! Went to medieval market and bought new gambeson, which was unplanned, but it fitted me really well, and was cheap. They had a size that was too big for me!

Saw Falkirk Wheel and roman fort.

Yesterday - Bovington Tank Museum. Saw a Leopard and a Cheiftan that still worked, and many cool displays. Panzer II's are a lot smaller than I thought they were, current MBT's huge by comparison.

Today - been to Warick Castle. Taking a break before we pop over to Stratford on Avon for a walk around.
