The cold,

Shoulders brushing,

Computer troubles.
So my parents gave me a budget of $1000 with which to go out and acquire a computer, sort of for school but obviously with plenty of flexibility to go out and get what I would want and not just the absolute bare minimum for utilitarian purposes. Globalization vs. Distance
How close do you need to be to someone before you feel "close"? How do you measure proximity? Do you measure relationships in respect to proximity, or do you measure proximity in respect to relationships? How far do you have to be from someone before they feel "distant"?

First week
Blargh. This first week of classes has been really chaotic, in really somewhat small incremental little ways that leave me constantly wondering why I'm so tired and having to really think back on what I did throughout the day to be able to justify it, even though it should be obvious: new city in new state, new (and mostly empty) apartment, new bus ( Read more... ) -
Quick Update
Ohhh, whoops! I haven't updated this thing in a couple weeks. Hah!
So, I'm in Madison, WI now! Waiting on the coffee shop in the Union to open actually before I brave the outdoor cold to walk over to the psych building for my placement test. (Yeah, I have like, 69 credits, but none of them are English Comp. Go figure.)
