It all turned out to be a dream. A lie; a farce. I always say it's best to be honest up front, instead of a few months down the line. We had fun, but that's all it will ever be. I've convinced myself that I'm happier on my own. Much happier not giving a damn about love, or ever finding someone to love. I've decided that I will focus on work and my art/stories.

How long will I last? My conviction is already being tested, and already I feel like breaking down. But I won't let it happen. Not now. Maybe never.

Every so often, I have a dream that shows me things that just... mess me up. Like a slap in the face from someone I would never expect it to come from - I'm left in a sort of shock for the entire day.
