Baby is still high, giving me horrid heartburn, and I swear that 4 pounds I gained as of last visit was 100% baby. I don't look all that big but it feels like she is so cramped up in there, and she likes to protest it regularly. Forgot to chart my 34-week OB appointment, and now I don't remember all the exact details.  Oops.  Blood pressure was normal.  I gained 4 more pounds, total 20 so far.  Baby's heartrate was in her normal 135-145 range, and fundal height was still on track.  Dr. Chang asked if baby was active and I said "oh yeah".  I have a very sore and tender spot ( Read more... )

Normally I like the pregnant LJ groups... there's too many "natural birth" divas on them and not enough moms who have had differing experiences.  The divas always gang up on moms mentioning "induction" or god forbid "c-section", so I always pop in with something along the lines of "they aren't the end of the world, be educated and know what you're ( Read more... )
