I hung out Friday night and last night with people I adore, and someone has finally met the mysterious E and seen how amazing she is.

For the first time in years I have options about where to work and under what conditions. Either choice will be wrong in some way, but either choice will also be right in some way.

My building is making unusual, loud, water-running through-pipes sounds every minute or so. I got here late last night, like LATE. Spent all day today with N at my favorite beach on the coast. Breathed delicious delicious evergreen and salt flavored air and was asked (three times, so far) why I was walking so fast. Bought bottled water at a gas station in the town of Beaver. As I write this, I am eating the first ripe cucumber from my garden, and it's so damn delicious that I hope one can eat a gigantic cucumber in one day without becoming desperately ill, because I'm probably going to. It was growing until about five minutes before I chopped off the end and ate it, and it's the essence of cucumberness.
