Life has calmed down here and we all had a peaceful Easter holiday. I got up and got froggy yesterday morning and cleaned, hung pictures and helped Amy get caught up on her laundry. It was horrid. I just got back from taking Damiana to the doctor about her medicine. The doctor has decided to take her off of the Metadate and put her on the stimulant-free Strattera. I am still a little frustrated with Damiana's teachers. They want her on medicine cause she's too hyper and can't focus on her school work. Ok. I get that done. So now she is losing weight (she is skinny to begin with) from not eating and having episodes of vomiting. She has also become very emotional and cries over small things. Clinical today went pretty well considering I am still at the nursing home. My patient needs a diagnosis of "bipolar" on her chart though.
