i had always wanted to apply to FIT... it costs too much for my family to pay...the govt isnt paying for my education...

what? why the hell not?
Have you applied for a FAFSA? That's how it'd done. Its all based on your family's income, and since My mom makes so little, the government is paying a large percentage of all of my college expenses. You dont have to have good grades/conduct, anything.

my parents make too much for me to get fafsa...they just never saved so they worry about paying a lot... ill apply to FIT later on after FIU...once im established in ny.

MICA, as nice as it is, is just wayyy too expensive for my family. At FIT 6 years of college tuition costs $59,000 (without scholarship/assistance). At MICA 4 years costs $160,000 (again, without scholarship/assistance).

but you can't apply for fafsa until january.
i guess you've looked at the application itself.

i'm sure you have a pretty good idea what your doing. have you talked to an accountant?

my parents are trying to shift their money around so we look poorer on the fafsa.

Such a divide between the DASH applications and the regular school ones. I guess good though. And you should totally go to San Francisco. California is WAY cooler than NY
