Dumpster Dive 2005 was very successful. I snagged an old-looking arrow-back Windsor chair next to a dumpster in University Village. Once, I got it home and cleaned it off, I noticed a maker's mark under the seat: Nichols and Stone, Gardner, MA, 1910. Yesterday was amazing. This has been a fairly successful week. Wednesday, I was invited to give a lecture to 100 art major type kids on the whole Serrano-Mapplethorpe-NEA controversy, and it went really well.
