We experimented weaving strips of reed together today in sculpture. One of the interesting ways to bind the reed is to wrap the intersections with...hog gut. Yep, we used actual pig intestines. I think our campus is flooding. They are beginning to let local school kids out early because of flash flooding. I had to cross several small rivers while wondering around campus this afternoon.

I'm also trying to avoid writing a paper for history. Yuck.

I am exploring the art of being a vegetarian. There is a presentation tonight about it and I think it would be cool to see why the hell someone would not want to eat meat. There is a new bulletin board in our hall for Thanksgiving. It says "What are you thankful for?" and has little cut-out turkeys all over it for people to write on.

I wrote "PENIS" on my turkey.

Art class is becoming a little too dangerous for me. We are carving wood using EXTREMELY scary power tools in the wood-shop. Today, the drill decided to annihilate my hand.
