Pumpkin bread in the oven.....

Pet peeve.... recipe calls for a 16 oz can of pumpkin...... it comes in 15 oz or 29 oz cans..... wtf???

When the food manufacturers shrink contents so that they dont raise prices to fool consumers (or whatever it is), do they even take into consideration they are screwing with recipes that need a certain amount too

Just got the call -- we are on for retrieval for Sunday.  There was a new doctor there this morning and he brought up a good point.  The follicles are what release estrogen.  As the leading ones get bigger some of the smaller ones may "die" thus they stop releasing estrogen resulting in a drop in estrogen level.  This apparently is what happened ( Read more... )

Still no news on the chromosomes and now I got word that instead of retrieving on Sunday we may just be trashing this cycle (!).  Apparently my estrogen went down today which means they could have screwed up and follicles could have released an egg, OR the lab I was going to could have screwed up.  Bottom line is that tomorrow (Friday) I have to go ( Read more... )

I hate dealing with insurance companies..... I hate trying to fix what the insurance company messes up.  The two issues we are trying to resolve today includes the cost of pathology from my miscarriage -- even tho the hospital was in network the pathology lab is not, and B's mental health hospitalization from April/May 2007.... yes over a year ago ( Read more... )

So out of sheer curiousity of seeing how much it would cost to travel to Toronto in October with David to see Hockey:The Musical again (www.hockeythemusical.com), I went to the Greyhound site and was able to get tickets....
