Yes! I freaking hate ちゃんと, it's so hard to render into English that doesn't sound weird. Because English speakers don't say things that mean the same as ちゃんと the way it's used in Japanese. The untranslateable stuff is always cultural.

Hmm, I didn't get the impression from page 12 that Yuuko has an unhappy fate, I immediately looked to the next panel and Haruka's smile and thought, "Haruka must have really meant Doumeki." Maybe I'm just a fangirl...
