Your vaunted Doctor (no offense here, Jenny, but I have to tell the truth) is from a race that is every bit as bigoted as the others. Just look at Doctor 9.0's tag "stupid apes." And the Boys from Boe are always speaking derogatorally about people from all the other ring peninsulas. (YES YOU ARE, JACK!) I don't include Hart in this because he's obviously been drugged beyond all sense. Honestly, fanfic? Hart? He never used to write such trash! He wrote poetry. He wrote words to stir the soul.

But enough about Bloody William...

I'd like to think that sexism is just as much of a social construct as racism. Saying "All males are like X" is just as bad as saying "All females are like Y."

We can do better than that, I hope.

The Ood are good naturally. In the 53rd there are free Ood and they are so amazing at being cheerful without being ha ha jolly all the time, it's refreshing. They don't do paperwork or make rotas or any passive agressive shit like that, there are just Ood and non-Ood and they include people in the circle more often than not so everyone can be Ood if they want.

No wonder they get picked on.
