School beckons

I knew I probably overexerted myself last week when I tried walking down the stairs at the library yesterday and I felt this piercing pain on my knees. I think the incessant knee-bending on the slopes last week took its toll, coupled by that darn run during lunchtime yesterday. I have shitty knees.

Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone, from cold, cold Leeds! Here with my cousins, and will be driving up to Olswaldthistle tomorrow to meet our aunt and another cousin before going for Christmas lunch somewhere [I have yet to know].

Yorkshire
Crappy Monday today with looming essay deadline. But last weekend was fantastic; I took the train up north to Leeds to meet up with my cousins [i.e. for Eid and whatnot]. This Feeling
Exhausted to the bone. I spent the weekend with a bunch of fun-loving climbers from my university at the Peaks, and although I've been before, i thought this was an excellent refresher to the climbing world. A Story

Funny how you learn about life from the unlikeliest of places. I took a black cab late last night after partying with my friends at Crush. The cabbie started talking about Britain becoming a morally and financially bankrupt country and that people with the means are fleeing to Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the lot. Blessings
I got the job. I'm going to qualify as a commercial lawyer in an international law firm in London. Praise be to God, for giving me a job before I graduate, and for letting me stay with my friends here as we embark on this exciting journey post-law school.

Anticipation
I remain bunkered down for what possibly is the greatest test this year. In contrast to other occasions, I'm very optimistic and very positive about it. I think, in this occasion at least, it's best to come prepared with confidence rather than ring myself with caution.
