No Games Journalism for me :S
So I entered the game journalism comp on gameplayer.com.au, but didn't win. They said that i was on the list of people they gave serious consderation too, so i must be doing something right, i'm just disappointed that I was so close to this amazing opportunity that could have given me everything i wanted right now..... but i didn't get it ( Read more... ) -

So, I had a very interesting experience tonight. Nikki and I went to her people talk about writing, specifically writing courses. While we were there, a slighy older woman came and sat at our table, and asked if we were studying writing. Nikki said she was, and I said i was thinking about it. I just realised that the two male leads in the story i'm working on are both very similiar to boyfriends i've had....
Also if i were to write about a character with long blond hair who read a lot would it look like i was just trying to copy luna? What about if she had curly red hair? is that too much of a sterotype? -

Today I learnt the very important lesson that the idea of "it doesn't matter if the sketch is crappy bc i will fix it when i ink it, is not a good one.

The "having a webcomic because it will encourage me to draw" thing is really working. I drew a georgeous picture of Sha tonight, which i really like, even though it isn't really in the style of the comic - mostly because it is so nice ( Read more... ) -

i am painting a picture of jai in photoshop, basing it on a photo to get proper skin tones and such. it's fun. this is my off-week project.
technically atm, i am working on my writing...
