i'm thinking of going home.

I'm pretty sure I'm done with ucsb.  I've become increasingly unhappy with school here.  I'm not doing things for the right reasons; I don't like the way everyone in my classes approaches learning.  As my friend Kim said the other night, "it's hurting my soul."  To think of it as my last quarter changes my perspective.  I don't know exactly what ( Read more... )

More of a home than I've had in a while.  I've been catching up, swimming in the ocean, and waiting to have some schoolwork to do.

I just moved into an apartment in downtown SLO, Garden Street, a block down from SLO brew.  Tomorrow I leave to go to Burning Man for a week.  Life is interesting.

Everything gets tied back to her.  Can I get over this?

For some reason when I heard she was moving to an apartment near Mill St. I became depressed.  It's part jealousy, part regret.  She's starting the life I always wanted to be part of.

I had no problem picking up the phone and calling her last month when I got into town.  I can't imagine it now.

Flying home tomorrow.
