Adam was quite pleased as he left his quarters. The day had been quite a success so far. The mission had been a piece of cake, he'd written his report in record time. He'd spend some time doing target practise and then went to the gym. In about half an hour he had a date with Kate, but he wanted to check in with Peter Grodin first.

( Dressed in civvies he made his way to the control room. )

"I am done for the day and I was just getting ready to see if I could sweet talk my special someone into calling it an early day," Peter replied, still smiling. He didn't care if people knew about he and Elizabeth but he'd let people ask him.

For a moment Adam wondered who that special someone was, woman or man. He wasn't particularly curious, but the way Grodin had phrased it, caught his attention. "Well, then congratulations to you, too," he said with a grin.

"Thank you," Peter replied, his dark eyes twinkling. "I'm a lucky man indeed, although getting her to leave work can be challenging."

"She married to her job or what?" Adam asked, winking back. "Isn't she looking forward to spend some time with you?"

Peter laughed good naturedly. "She definitely has her plate full in terms of her work but I can be pretty persuasive."
