You have no idea how closely I relate to this entry. Half the people I work with at Eddie Bauer have a Bachelor's degree or higher. The job market sucks, paying for undergrad (not to mention grad school) is a bitch, the lucky breaks that existed in our parents' generation aren't here for us, and more post-grad students than ever are moving back in with their parents. Reality bites

I agree with Lymette. And I will say this, I think selling furniture right out of college is no big deal, as long as you know that's all it is... a job to get you through until you can move on. Look at me. Two whole years of community college... does that mean I'm unmotivated, or lazy or uncaring? Of course not. I'm just doing what I have to until I can move on. Sometimes it's ok to do something just to get through. Besides, until you have a direct plan to make all of your billions, you'll need a job to pay off those wonderful loans... you know??
I know you'll be fine. You have enough drive, and god knows enough stubborness to not become stuck in the blck hole that is Kazoo. Lol, and I really hope you do work for an ArtVan, just a year or so... and you have to sell a futon to someone just like you. I would pay money to see it.

PS: I am pretty sure I'll be in AA Thursday night for my friends party and Friday afternoon, so I'll be sure to call you.
PSS: How is Eddie Bauer?
