Well!  Just finished Phase Two of eggnog making (gossip in Friend's kitchen while I whip cream), so I have cracked open the bottle of sherry I got earlier.  I have never had sherry before, so I grabbed the one that was inexpensive-but-not-cheap and called 'Amontillado ( Read more... )

Students are apparently (ETA: maybe?  I've read both yes and no.)  being kettled on Queen St, at a demonstration by the Aneurin Bevan statue.  I am not sure if I regret not going, or I'm happy I stayed in and worked/did laundry.

It is bitterly cold out, incidentally.
