The AU premise here is awesome. I love them as space pirates and the whole atmosphere. I really enoyed getting John's backstory in pieces, though I'd love to find out more about how Vala got him out of Ba'al's clutches. It was great how Daniel, Janet and Novak decided to stay with Vala & co, and I'm looking forward to their joint adventures in Pegasus.

Many adventures to come in Pegasus for all of them and I will be telling more about how Meredith and Jehan came to be from Rodney and John.

I'll be honest, I don't read much SG1 fic, but I thought I'd give this one a try because it was listed under the McKay/Sheppard slash section on SGA Newsletter.
So I started reading but when I didn't see John's name right away, I skimmed over the rest of the story to see where he'd come in. But since I didn't see John or Sheppard anywhere, I just figured it was a mistake and wasn't going to read.... but now that I read the comments and see he is in it using another name I will go back and read the whole thing! Forgive me, I almost missed out on what looks to be a great story!

I don't actually explain that Jehan is Sheppard, just leave some clues here and there that he'd from Earth. Of course McKay isn't using Rodney either which is also a clue. I'm playing with identity, how much is it name, how much is it role, how much is it personality and past?

Space pirates FTW! Very interesting world set up. I'm loving the Jehan/Mer interaction. I'm dying to know more background on what happened to them, now that you've jumped in and given us such huge teasers. Wants to hug silent and moody Jehan! Oh, and Janet, how I've missed you.
