Galaxy Zoo
Since I have pretty much nothing to do at work right now, I've been spending some time on Galaxy Zoo. It's an online astronomy project, using the many-eyeballs approach to classify images of very distant galaxies. Returned from my first Dragon*Con! I am exhausted and punchy! Wheeee!
kittenpants, triadruid and featheryscale picked me up on their way through St. Louis. The original plan was to make it to Atlanta well before 7pm, but after some delays at the start plus dinner at the world's slowest Applebee's, we wound up being on the road until midnight. Vehicular Decisions
Thanks for all the car suggestions, people. I went out and test drove some of them this weekend, and so far it looks like I'm deciding between the Mazda 3 and the Honda ElementThe Mazda is a smallish hatchback, very sporty.
