Making a 100% awesome gown. Will post pictures on my blog & Facebook.

Sewing my first unlined waistcoat. It turned out pretty well. Had to put a facing in front, but had juuuust enough fabric to get it. Also found enough extra to line the pocket flaps and make real pockets. Which I have to pin down by hand-tacking them to the outside ( Read more... )

Re-making a pair of stays for a lady. I didn't make them, just cutting them to bits and re-doing them. Have to hand sew the binding on. It's leather and very narrow. Not super-hard, but not easy either. $10/hr, not bad.
