Ah, holidays. Life has once again devolved to a combination of working and bumming around. I had today off, so last night Ramon and I got wasted, watched Orgazmo again and went to Cube

Still haven't seen Orgazmo. How did you not notice Brooke was back? What's Cinzano? My sister could eat a huge jar of marinated artichoke hearts on her own. Nothin' wrong with dairy spread!
You *must* see Orgazmo. How could you not have seen it whilst being here? That is soooo weird...
I noticed Brooke was back when the front door was unexpectadly opened when no-one else was home, and no-one else was expected home. My surprise was great.
Cinzano is a brand of vermouth, which is a fortified wine product. Very nice.
The marinated artichokes are alright. I like the asparagus better.
And the dairy spread is good.
Thus ends the little replies to your little comments :)
We never watched any Eddie Izzard while I was there, either--travesty!
At least I know that, in this house, no one but my roommate and I will be walking into the house unexpectedly, with the rare exception of his mother if he's sick and she's bringing him stuff.. hell, few people visit expectedly. :)
I'm aware of vermouth solely as a mixed drink additive, most commonly used in martinis.
I'm not particularly fond of asparagus. I'll probably eat it if it's in a dish presented to me, but I won't go out of my way to use it in my own cooking.
Vermouth is great stuff. It's really cheap, for one thing. The dry white variety (there are six kinds) is really good with a lot of ice, a slice of lemon, and lemonade. Bianco vermouth is sweeter, and should be served the same way, but with soda water. Get to know your vermouth, it's wonderful! Especially in summer.
