So last year my brother got married. He lives in San Francisco and he and his fiance Robyn, decided to get married at a beautiful vineyard in Sonoma Valley. Cathy and I went out to go to the wedding. This is the first time that I really feel like my vote mattered...

Woke up at 4:45am...was at my polling place by 5:20 and was the first in line. It was nice. The stars were out and I was able to really be in the moment. At 5:50 people started lining up behind me...by 6:45 I'd finished coloring in all the little rectangles on my ballot and had my "I Voted!" sticker in hand.

Yay!!!!
