Last night keldan stayed at my apartment on his way back from Vermont. There is something exhilarating about an old friend in a new city: we told "remember whens" and ate pierogies and had kosher dogs in the middle of Times Square. And I just got in, safe and sound (albeit far later than expected). I'll get together a care package of apple butter and other assorted rarities when time and energy permit.

Despite the fact that the entry seems to be dated at 1:14 am, this is a dirty lie - it is 4:10 am. LJ needs to fix their damn clock.
