I probably shouldn't be posting since I'm really emotional right now, but I have a problem and it's escalating and I need some advice.

Aside from the suggested reporting of this person to the archive managers, I'd say one option is to write them back and say due to their behavior, you've decided to never finish it. EVER. That they've utterly ruined the experience of writing this story, and due to their harassment you now associate working on it with very distasteful feelings. Tell them they need not bother writing again, as any messages they send will be deleted without you reading the content ( ... )

Thanks so much for your comment. I wanted to take a day and think over what everyone said. I've taken your comment to heart and have updated the fic that it is complete. I am 95% sure it will stay that way -- I seriously feel sick every time I think about updating it due to this jerk.

*hugs* I have nothing to add save for joining the chorus of report/block them wherever you can. If they were going to stop, they would have by now. Time to escalate. I'm so sorry you have to put up with that bullshit.

Yeah it fucking sucks. Sorry about the late comment. I wanted to take a day to clear my head. Anyway, I have reported and at this point I removed the fic from everywhere but A03 where it's been listed as complete. Sucks, but... eh, I need to take my own advice and not let this stress me out more.

oh you poor thing! well, at least I feel better now (In only harras my fav writers onces each season :P)

Seriously though, I feel your pain with the unemployment thing, so yeah, while I don't write I do make fanart, and it'd seem like something terrible to see it now as a duty or something I have to finish because someone out there wants me to.

but! if I were you, I'd take down the story, and finish it in peace in my own free time to post it later, or maybe, don't allow comments at all...I guess you can't do that in Ff.net, but here in LJ maybe?
