I just sent in a $4000 check for my student loans. Suck a tiny dent provided a sense of pride in not buying everything I want. I like to think I am on my way to being a reformed big spender. I'm going to send my tax refund straight there as well.

New Year's Resolution
I will not bring home work more than twice a week. Keeping my time free after school and on the weekends will keep me from being stressed out or losing myself in this job.
I have adequate time at school to plan and get there early enough to get my work done. No excuses. -

So I started my job about a month ago. My room was a complete disaster, but I have been staying late whenever I can to clean. By the end of the year, I will be somewhat happy with it. Hello Adulthood
Small bits have approached and been handled, but this is something completely different. Yesterday was my last class and that means my MA Teaching is finished. I turned down the job at Joliet West and said some rosaries..... got the job at Proviso East. Very very happy about how that worked out. Reading info
I have an interview at Joliet West on the 23rd for a part-time art position. Better than being unemployed. Maybe it's for the best too. I'll being starting my Masters in Reading. I can get some extra classes in this year if I don't have to work. I am going to apply for some GED instructor jobs at the community colleges. So yeah on to the notes to ( Read more... )
