I was in the subway station on 86th steeet yesterday right after this happened. Now that I know what all the confusion was really about, I find it odd that the MTA announcements explanined it as being "...due to a passenger illness on 77th street."

I hate it when people fight on the subway. Especially in NYC, where the chance of one of them pulling out a gun is pretty good.

I can't imagine the emotions Mark and Emily must be going through right now, having to choose between the Lakers and the Clippers. I just hope you don't forget Carolina's beloved Charlotte Bobcats and their impact on your pre-California lives.

Why the hell, if I knew the NYC Marathon runners would be coming up 1st Ave today, did I pick a bar on 1st Ave to watch the Carolina Panthers game? I guess walking out of our building and seeing the street closed off and all the runners going by wasn't a big enough hint for me.
