Leghorns (I say, I say, I say Chickens that is!)
I'm running an experiement.
Back near the end of spring/start of summer, I ordered a batch of chicks from Ideal Poultry. In that batch were 6 white (only white!) leghorn pullets, 4 rose comb brown leghorn pullets, and 2 rose comb brown leghorn cockerels. Wild Fires
Thank you everyone for being concerned about me. I'm really okay. The fires have not struck near where I live, yet. There was a smallish one south of Antlers a few weeks ago, but luckily it was contained and no one lost their homes. Only some small out-buildings were destroyed. I have been neglegent in reading my friends pages and also with posting. I've been cheating on Live Journal with MySpace (evil, evil), but I've been located by a few interesting people and some longtime friends that I had lost touch with. Is all good 'n schtuff. :D -
Interesting Night
So I was in McDonalds having a Mighty Kids meal with my daughter and this older couple comes in and sits beside us. The gentleman talks to me, invites me to the church he attends.
